Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing at Schuylkill Health has received  receipt of continuing National Accreditation of its Diploma Nursing Education Program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) formerly the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

National Accreditation was received for the maximum of eight years following a Program site visit, and submission of an extensive Self-Study Report in September, 2010.

The ACEN recognizes nursing education programs for achievement of "Quality and Excellence" in Nursing Education.  The Accreditation period extends from Fall, 2010, to Fall, 2018.
